I hope you are all enjoying your summer as much as I am. It just seems like the nice days are passing by too quickly. It won’t be long until we’re back to the more structured schedules, but for now we’re keeping it flexible.
Even though I’ve been spending a lot of time enjoying the parks and pool with my children, I’ve managed to make some time for this latest project: Simple Designs. A while back I had an idea for a coloring book for kids. The original idea was to have something similar to what the adults were doing, but suitable for those with less developed fine motor skills.
When I finally completed this project, I realized it would be something I would like to color too. It’s nice to be able to start and finish a picture (or three) in one sitting. This book has 64 unique pages to color, all single sided. Even with the simple images, it’s sure to provide hours of stress-free coloring. If you have a younger colorist in your house, they will be able to use their crayons, colored pencils, or washable markers.
There are two versions of the book available–one with pictures on the right side of the page and one with pictures on the left side of the page. If you are left handed, you will appreciate not having the spine of the book interfere with your coloring.
